Abstract
Nowadays, competition between firms have occurred among not only their goods they produce but also their logistic strategies. Lately, harsh competition, ecoist Non-Governmental Organization’s (NGO) pressure and increment customer preference for green products and green processes have triggered the companies to rearrange their logistic strategies. Environmental production, reducing the cost of manufacturing via re-production and recycling, social responsibility, legal and customer pressure on companies have increased green logistics activities. These pressures in terms of green production have incentive impact on companies about sustaining green logistics implementations. The implementation of green logistic on enterprises is to enhance firm’s ecologist image through reducing raw material, obtainning material cost and fulfilling social responsibility. The central body of this study, whose surveys were cunducted by face to face meeting method was ingendered of public, private and university hospitals in Istanbul. In the analysis of the data obtained, we used explanatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation and regression analysis in order to dedect the relationship between variables. In this study, green logistics barriers were investigated and the reasons have been analyzed on health enterprises.
