ABSTRACT
Today, due to the increasing population and health problems, the demand for the pharmaceutical and medical equipment industry is increasing. Based on this demand, sufficient resources must be provided to consumers. Logistics activities are extremely important for the demanded resources to reach customers. Warehouses are key points in logistics activities. Therefore, choosing a location for medical warehouses containing health products is very important in terms of business efficiency. The decision maker should determine the most suitable option for the medical storage location in terms of many criteria and among various alternatives, by looking at the available location possibilities. Therefore, medical storage location selection is a multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) problem and it has been handled by two of MCDM methods. These are AHP (analytical hierarchy process) and ANP (analytical network process) methods. In this study, in order to select the most suitable medical storage location for the enterprises, it was solved by AHP and ANP methods by considering 4 main criteria and 9 sub criteria. Among the 9 districts in Kırıkkale; Yahşihan, Keskin, Delice and Sulakyurt districts were selected and compared. As a result of the problem, it was seen that the medical warehouse should be established in the first region of Yahşihan district. For the first time in the literature, the problem of medical storage location selection has been solved with MCDM methods.
