Abstract
This study aims to measure the changing expectations on finding a job and careers of Yalova University Students. The survey was done with 286 students in the spring term of 2014-2015. The expectations of the students on finding a job and their careers is going to be measured with a survey before taking a job and counseling service. In the next phase, job and career counseling service is going to be held for the students by the Yalova Employment Agency. After one week, the same survey will be applied for the same students in the last phase. The results of the second survey will be compared with the first survey in order to understand if there is any change in finding a job and career expectations of the students. The study has two sections. In the first section, the literature is reviewed and both two surveys are analyzed in the second section. The survey results show that after the training of job and career counselors, students’ approaches are changed in the positive way for their finding a job and career expectations.
