Abstract

Conservative women who want to exist in the labor market in Turkey seem to have problems in their business life. This study aimed to reveal the views of conservative women about the perspectives of working and the working conditions. For this purpose, in-depth discussions were held with 15 women working in the participation banks and defining themselves as conservatives. In the result part of the study; interviewed women stated that women should exist in the working world because of economic development, economic freedom, women's empowerment and the need to contribute to the domestic economy. The most prominent aspect of women's work environments is that they offer comfortable environments in which they can fulfill their religious duties and that one's faith is respected. At the beginning of the negative opinions about the environment and conditions of interviewed women; there is no flexible working hours. They also feel uncomfortable working with men in the same environment.
