Abstract
The Middle East having the characteristic of being a central and strategic point through the history have been a region that hosts the developments from past to present that direct Turkish foreign policies and behaviours. In reality, this situation was prooved obviously by the civil war that developed after the social acts – Arab Spring- occurred in the mentioned region and spread to Syria. In these sense, examining the effects of civil war in Syria relations and Turkey’s foreign policy directed to Syria is of crucial importance. As a matter of fact, this study aims to analyze the effects of mentioned civil war on Turkey-Syria relations and Turkey’s foreingn policy directed to Syria in the framework of assumptions concerning the security perspective of Neorealism.
